I’m still not convinced that I should have eye surgery to correct my vision. I keep turning up more reasons not to have the surgery that the reasons in it favor. I have discovered another factor to consider if I have the surgery. There is a change that you can develop severe dry eye syndrome following the eye surgery. I am not quite sure what dry eye feels like, but I have heard people mention that it sometimes feel like there is something like sand in your eyes, and it is very uncomfortable. I am beginning to back peddle over this issue of having Lasik eye surgery. My Grandmother says taking Flaxseed oil and fish oils are a big help for dry eyes. I have read that you can put drops into your eyes called artificial tears if you have dry eyes. There does seem to be things that you can do to combat most of the situations if you have the surgery and experience certain problems. I want to be completely sure so I will continue with my research into this surgery. I would surely like to put down my glasses and contact lenses and not have to worry about wearing them.
